As my cousins and I were starting our food tripping sessions in Eastwood, we decided to have dinner to the nearest not-too-expensive food around. Fate led us to KFC.
My brother ordered Hot and Spicy Chicken, my cousins ordered some pasta and the super-saver Chicken Fillet but I wanted to try something new to my taste buds. Fate (again) led me too KFC’s Kung Pao Supreme Bowl with a price of 100 Pesos. Inclusive of a regular sized drink of my preference, Apple Juice.
It was KFC’s original fried chicken fillet and topped with corn, chopped onion stalks, garlic and their Sweet & Spicy oriental Sauce. The servings were also quite generous.
Tasting it for the first time, the sauce was a bit too strong to harmonize with the chicken and other ingredients. But there is no taste too strong for an extra cup of rice too spread out the taste.
Since the KFC Kung Pao Supreme Bowl had two chicken fillet and super tasty sauce, you could actually buy an extra cup of rice, ask for an extra plate and you can share it with a friend.
